Description
The Asian Development Bank is helping Georgia build a new bypass road skirting the busy port city of Batumi, which will cut traffic congestion and support smoother transport movements along a key east-west highway near the city. Along with construction of the 14.3 km two-lane bypass road, the project will also support repairs and maintenance work on about 200 km of secondary connecting roads.
