Description

The Project: The Gradacac Water Supply Project (45810) involves the expansion of the water supply to rural areas of the Gradacac Municipality; the replacement of dilapidated water mains to reduce water losses; the reconstruction and expansion of the sewerage network; and reconstruction of the wastewater plant. On December 2014, the Board of the Bank approved a sovereign loan to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the amount of up to EUR 6.0 million. The Project is implemented by the public utility company Komunalac d.o.o. Gradačac, a shareholding association majority owned by the Gradačac Municipality. The Project objective is to contribute to environmental protection and improvement of the quality of water supply and waste water services in the Gradačac Municipality.
